Fulfilment pricing depends on the way your inventory arrives, how much space it uses, your monthly order volume, the number of items in each order and any special packing or handling requirements.
Volume-based fulfilment pricing
Our pick-and-pack pricing becomes more competitive as monthly order volumes increase. Lower-volume tiers include up to four product picks per order, while higher-volume tiers use a one-pick base rate with additional picks charged separately.

Storage pricing for bins, shelves and pallets
Storage is based on the type and amount of warehouse space your inventory requires. Smaller ecommerce products may be stored in pick bins, while bulk inventory may be held on shelving or pallets.

Receiving stock into the warehouse
Receiving costs depend on whether inventory arrives on pallets, as loose cartons, as mixed-SKU freight or in a shipping container.

- Oversized pallet over 1500mm: $40 per pallet
- Small carton: $3
- Medium carton: $4
- Large / heavy carton: $5
- Mixed-SKU or complex receiving: $99/hour
- Minimum inbound charge: $30 per consignment
Palletised container receiving starts from $300 for a 20ft container and $400 for a 40ft container where the service is forklift unload only. Floor-loaded container de-stuffing is charged at $99/hour with a minimum three-hour booking.

efillship commonly uses Australia Post for general ecommerce parcel fulfilment, but different couriers and freight options may be used where appropriate.

No efillship carrier-rate markup applies when your own account is used.
Use an efillship carrier account
If you do not have your own suitable carrier account, approved efillship carrier accounts may be used.
Carrier charges are passed through with a 10% service/admin markup to help cover account administration, pickup costs and carrier-related incidentals.

Returns, kitting, labels and additional handling

Wholesale order fulfilment pricing
Wholesale orders are handled differently from standard B2C ecommerce orders because they often involve full cartons, carton consolidation, larger shipments and pallet preparation.
Full-case wholesale orders
$18 per wholesale order
Includes handling of up to four full cartons/cases, consolidation, labelling and dispatch preparation.
Additional cartons: generally $2.50–$4.00 each depending on carton size.
Case-breaking wholesale orders
$22 per wholesale order
Applies where cartons must be opened and individual units picked and repacked.
Pallet preparation
$85 per standard pallet build
Includes carton consolidation, stacking, stretch wrapping, strapping where required and label application.
Pre-built pallet label and dispatch handling: $20 per pallet.
Why every fulfilment account is priced a little differently
Order volume
Higher monthly volumes may qualify for lower pick-and-pack rates.
Average items per order
Orders containing multiple products may attract additional pick charges.
SKU count
A larger catalogue can require more warehouse locations and storage space.
Product size
Small products may fit into pick bins, while bulkier inventory may require shelf or pallet storage.
Inbound format
Single-SKU pallets are faster to receive than mixed or loose inventory requiring sorting.
Special handling
Bundles, labelling, inserts, kitting, wholesale requirements and complex returns can affect total cost.
Fulfilment pricing FAQs
Is there a minimum monthly fulfilment fee?
Yes. A $250 ex-GST monthly minimum applies to pick-and-pack charges. Storage, shipping, packaging, software fees, receiving and other additional services do not count toward this minimum.
Do your prices include GST?
No. Unless specifically stated otherwise, efillship service pricing shown on this page is quoted ex GST.
Can I use my own Australia Post or courier account?
Yes, and this is generally preferred where the account and service can be integrated into the fulfilment workflow. When your own carrier account is used, efillship does not add a carrier-rate markup.
What happens if I use an efillship carrier account?
Approved efillship carrier accounts may be used where required. Carrier costs are passed through with a 10% service/admin markup.
Does shipping form part of the pick-and-pack price?
No. Shipping or freight is charged separately because the cost depends on the carrier, destination, parcel dimensions, weight and selected service.
Can you quote a custom fulfilment setup?
Yes. Send us your SKU count, product dimensions, inbound stock profile, monthly order volume, average items per order and any special packaging or shipping requirements.
